Introducing Livia Elise Rogers

The long awaited day is here! Friday morning John & I arrived at the hospital at 6 am and started getting ready for my csection. I had to have another since Rebekah was born by emergency csection. I did not sleep well the night before because I was so worried about how it would all go. Last time it all went really fast since it was an emergency and I was sick most of the delivery. I was hoping this time everything would go differently and it did!
Mom and Dad came into town Thursday afternoon to help watch Bekah. They got to the hospital ~7am and it was great to give my first little pooh bear a big hug & kiss before going into surgery.
The nurses were all really great and comforting through the whole process. After telling them our story from last time they agreed to try and make it different this time. I was so very anxious to get through the surgery and meet my little girl. I know John was anxious and pacing the floor waiting to come see me and meet our little girl. It was great this time John came in right before the baby was born and got to see her first! Dr. Reddy held her up and I got to see her too from over the drapes. She screamed soooo loud and kept screaming the whole time she was getting cleaned up. John got to take lots of pix and then finally hold her! I got to then kiss her before they took her off to get all cleaned up and weighed/measured.

Livia Elise Rogers was born August 6th at 8:05 am. We were soooo very excited to meet her! She shocked us all and weighed 9 lb 11 oz and was 22 inches long!!!

After getting all cleaned up and Mommy getting all fixed up we met again in the recovery room for some much needed alone time with mommy and baby. My little baby girl is so beautiful and looks a lot like my first beautiful baby girl! She is perfect! So healthy and happy!
Later we then went to our room and started having visitors. It is always fun to show off your new little one:)

On Sunday morning the nurses asked if we were ready to go home (and of course we were) so we left right after lunch! Mommy was feeling good and baby was doing great!
